LEADERSHIP
Rob joined Exeter in 1993 and has experience in all aspects of the commercial real estate business, including acquisitions, entitlements, finance, development, leasing, and sales. Rob is primarily focused on capitalizing current and future projects. He has an MBA in Finance from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management and a BA degree in History from Northwestern University.
Herb joined Exeter in 2003 and has extensive experience in all aspects of real estate development. Herb’s focus for new developments includes site selection, entitlements, project design, and construction oversight. He has an MBA degree in Finance from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management and a BA degree in Finance from the University of St. Thomas. Herb is a member of ULI, Lambda Alpha International, and the Twin Cities Housing Alliance.
Tom joined Exeter in 2009 and has extensive experience in project finance and management. Tom currently focuses on investor and governmental relations, strategic planning, and the overall development process. Tom began his career over 30 years ago with the Eberhardt Company in Minneapolis and continues to manage family multifamily properties. Tom has a BA degree in English Literature from the University of Vermont and is a member of the Urban Land Institute and the Twin Cities Housing Alliance.
James A. Stolpestad

Jim started the Exeter business in 1991 following 20 years as a lawyer in government and private practice. While he is retired from active Exeter property management, he retains interests in legacy projects and is general counsel of Exeter Asset Services LLC that helps owners, lenders, and other parties with distressed assets.
